It’s the latest from Massachusetts, Mississippi, and more, this week on Tom Gresham’s GUNTALK® Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.
As GUNTALK welcomes new stations WRKO 680 AM in Boston, Massachusetts, and WMXI 98.1 FM in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Tom checks in with local gun rights groups in those states this week. Brent Carlton of Comm2a, (http://www.comm2a.org), and Jim Wallace, Executive Director of GOAL, (http://www.GOAL.org), both stop by GUN TALK with the latest news out of Massachusetts. Tom also talks with Jeff Pittman, who runs 2A News (http://www.2anews.net), and is VP of the Mississippi State Firearms Owners Association (http://msfoa.tripod.com/), about a few of the legislative updates out of Mississippi, and beyond.
A new giveaway with GUNTALK and Springfield Armory will also be announced this week! Find out more at http://www.guntalk.com/win, beginning this Sunday.
Howdy back at ya!
Off topic, but took the family to see American Sniper this afternoon. Great flick.
Good evening! Thanks for the report; I’ve heard nothing but good things, except from libtards. The trailers look great.
Thank you!
Every dollar AS makes makes another Libtard’s head explode.
We went the second weekend and it was the best move I’ve seen since The Godfather.
That last caller sounded almost like one of those sovereign citizen movement guys.
I missed it; was out putting the Jeep into the garage for the night.
I download the podcasts and listen on airline flights and sometimes when I have some time at work when I am writing or reading long documents. I am only about 5 1-hour segments behind.
That’s a good idea. I’ve been going back thru the GT Archives when I have time, and getting some good information from the older broadcasts. It’s interesting to go back to ‘06 and listen to the day’s topics and news.
I don’t even like shooting regular .38 Special out of my S&W 360PD...
+p will put a hurt on your wrist, forearm and elbow after a box or so. At only 11oz, that S&W 360PD is easy to handle, but too light to help the recoil. My 6” Colt Trooper Mk III .357 Magnum is a blast with 158gr magnum loads, and absorbs a lot of the recoil. But after 50rnds, I’ve had enough, though.
howdy!
Howdy back at ya.
I’ve never even dared to try a .357 mag in my 360. Maybe for sh!ts and giggles someday when I’m wearing gloves.
Troy Defense.
We got one in shipment at the FFL’s, for a customer’s order, and it was a 7.62. I had a chance to shoot it in the rifle lanes downstairs at work. Very, very nice hardware.

That is a sweet, sweet piece of hardware you have.
If you want a light recoil (but freaking LOUD), try Liberty HV Ammo in .38 Special in 50gr:

Had a 357 snubbie titanium. Just too painfull. Cyl kept binding up so I got rid of it.
Have you tried the Troy squid grips?
