Let's say it cost 1200 a day to employ you. Start with 8.5% matching employer SS/FICA, withheld fed taxes of 35%, State and local taxes, union dues, Social Security, etc. withheld, and you are down to 800.00 or less, then add strike fund, medical/dental/optical benefits, Workers' comp, matching 401K, all the other stuff the union demands, and these guys are probably knocking back $60 to $75 an hour.
I doubt they are working more than an eight hour day.
What it costs to employ someone is at least double what the employees take home pay is.
