France thought they were on the same page with the US on airstrikes against Syria when Obama's 'Red Line' was crossed with the use of chemical weapons. France risked considerable political capital with this stance given their colonial history in the Levant and Obama left them high and dry.

We almost had France back as a partner but Obama blew that out of the water.

Putin plays the great game—setting one state against another—Obama refuses to play and just lets things happen and responds. Putin knows history hasn’t changed, changing borders hasn’t stopped and will continue as it always has. Obama thinks we are in a new age where all will be different and he is a great man in his own mind. Heaven help us. Obama is in for a rude awaking moment. I fear lots of folks are going to die because of this.

” US on airstrikes against Syria when Obama’s ‘Red Line’ was crossed with the use of chemical weapons.”

According to ISIS. I for one am glad we didn’t bomb Assad on the behalf of the lying rebels.
