Confounded them locally. National politics is a whole different beast. I’m afraid Walker being right(as in correct) and an effective governor does not transport him to the next level of a national leader with a message. I’m beginning to think the media, Washington parasites, and lobbyists are just too much for an executive at odds with their wants, needs, and desires. The people have lost control of their national government. Much of their local government too.
Oh bull crap. These are the same things they said about Reagan - gee, I guess I’ll just sit out the 2016 election - no one is pure enough to vote for, according to the purists on here. Everyone is a RINO - here a RINO, there a RINO, everywhere a RINO. I’m not sure most on here even understand what a true conservative is. They just like to throw the term around as if they are in the know. We aren’t going to get anyone who agrees with our own special snowflakes 100% of the time, so we need to accept someone who is at least in love with this country, is for a strong national defense, someone who will restore our military to it’s proper place, and yes, someone who is strong on social issues. Walker isn’t going to fight the same-sex marriage - even though I’m sure he doesn’t believe in it. I think he feels he has spent enough money and time in the courts to last him a lifetime. This is going to get heavy as we get closer to elections - most on here will beat up and spit out someone who might just make a good president - given the chance. Instead, they will stay home, sulk and either let a real RINO get the nomination, or God forbid - another DEM wins the WH. (off my soapbox now).
