He lives in a vivid fantasy world that would make Walter Mitty blush never missing a chance to shamelessly play the hero or embellish a news story. Reality-challenged NBC anchor Brian Williams once boasted about abandoning a dying buddy to cover the death of Princess Diana but said it was worth it because it won him worldwide fame. I lost a very good friend to Agent Orange-related cancer, he told Alec Baldwin in a March 2013 interview on the 30 Rock actors Heres the Thing show on WNYC radio. I was in the hospital room with him. It was a Saturday night, I had just done Nightly News. My pager went off: Diana, car accident, Paris. I called the office, and they said, You better get in here, Williams recalled. I had no idea that Id be announcing to what was then, I mean, they plugged us into cable all over Europe. I have people wherever I go to this day who say, I was with you the night Diana died, the anchor said. Williams has spun more wild story lines than his own networks sitcoms.

Only if he gets the 1 wife and 5 mules.
My Brian Williams story is a true one, unlike his... I was working a detail for a film festival where the liberal swells were in full glory. Lyin’ Brian came off of the stage and walked out front to get into his limo when he spots me and chortles, “Well, officer, I see you have crime under control out here,” with condescension dripping from his voice. I looked at him and said, “Crime is about the one growth industry these day, thanks to Obama’s policies.” A batch of people laughed. Lyin’ Brian gave me the standard harrumph of the better class and walked away. I yelled at him, “Hey, it’s ok if you use that line. No worries!” Heh, heh, heh - love seeing him getting clubbed like a baby seal!
Possibly. What we do know is that Brian was standing on the observation deck of the WTC when the famous "Tourist Guy" photo was taken.
“...he told Alec Baldwin...” ?
It says right in the article that Alec Baldwin had/has a radio show.
Williams was on the show.
.
You could be right.
Grover Cleveland spanked me on two non-consecutive occasions.
Baldwin’s show doesn’t come in on our Dish.
