NBC better not fire him and keep Sharpton. FOX better look to Geraldo before they besmirch much and CNN, ABC & CBS ought be careful of their words too. This could be an epidemic.
Lyin Brian is taking “A few days off of work” according to NBC News, then when he comes back he can claim he went to Syria and defeated ISIS with his bare hands
Exactly...Geraldo came to mind when this Williams thing first broke, he’s embellished stories for years.

NBC's entire culture, for at least a couple of decades, has been to make up the news as it went along. News programs are much less expensive if you only need to hire a couple creative writers, special effects guys and stuntmen rather than a news force that covers actually random events as they happen anywhere on earth. Heck's bells, if you do it the NBC way, you never have to let the facts get in the way of a good story or the outcome on your agenda.
Great Caesar's Ghost, the fact that Brian Williams made up heroics out of whole burlap, as sad as that need is for a putative self actualized adult, should be a resume enhancement at NBC.
I can understand Williams in this environment. What I can't comprehend is NBC News having one single viewer.
Need one with him parting the Red Sea.

As has been said before, nothing will mess up a good war story worse than for an eye witness to show up.
As someone who couldn’t have named him as a news anchor just a week ago, something that I see in all of these youtube videos of him I am now watching, is how almost everyone of them contains a liberal attack against the Bush administration.
It’s the disease that infects *all* leftists: “Believing is seeing.”
To lefties, a fact is the most irrelevant quantity of all. They are so wonderfully intelligent, insightful, and knowing that merely thinking something is true makes it so. Ergo such as Lyin’ Brian & his Chopper Whopper and Hillary, whom William Safire accurately labeled a “congenital liar.”
We shot down a couple hundred, yeah, using our sidearms and were awarded Medals of Honor, put around our necks by my dear sweet wife .... Morgan Fairchild.
