As Twitchy reported, Republican legislators in Colorado this week introduced several bills intended to repeal restrictive gun control legislation passed in 2013, only to have each bill passed by the Senate and blocked by the House along straight party lines.
Today is #ThrowbackThursday on Twitter, and Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) has also decided to pivot back to 2013, joined by other Connecticut politicians to introduce a new effort to ban high-capacity magazines under the #SayNo2MoreAmmo hashtag campaign.

@SenBlumenthal you should just ban killings... Oh wait.
Brian Vogel @VogelNation
@SenBlumenthal criminals DO NOT obey laws, which includes magazine limits #GunSense #2ndAmendment #DefendTheSecond

@SenBlumenthal Yes, handicapped old folks with arthritis who have trouble reloading don't have a right to self defense via modern weapons!

@RepLoisFrankel will the secret service be doing away with them as well? What about law enforcement?

This time Its Assault magazine Scam [Were not talking repulsive socialist rags like Mother Jones nah]
Nope! these are metal boxes with springs that can Assault people.
Someone randomly decided you only need 10 rounds soon to be 5 rounds.. then 3 rounds.. then..
And they also dont know of the concept of the Tactical reload, OR that with practice someone can swap mags in 1 2 seconds whenever they choose to do so..
NOT to mention that Criminals [By Definetion] ARENT going to bother following another law piled on top of all the other laws
Someone pulls out a gun and starts shooting people...which is against the law.
But we need laws to prevent the same killers from carrying higher capacity mags.
Yeah, its almost like if they dont obey the law about killing people, they also wont obey the law about having high capacity (however that is defined by the gun grabbers) magazines.
You can tell theyve just been itching to have another mass murder happen to they can trot out their emotional appeal to have people to give up their freedom.
You should only be allowed to carry one round at a time for self protection and it can’t be loaded in your gun. We can call this law the Barney Fife Firearms Violence Enabling Act of 2015.
“Someone randomly decided you only need 10 rounds soon to be 5 rounds.. then 3 rounds.. then..”
Was 10 in NY. Now it’s 7.
That the general statutes be amended to establish a class C felony offense, except for certain military and law enforcement personnel and certain gun clubs, for (1) any person or organization to purchase, sell, donate, transport, possess or use any gun except one made to fire a single round, (2) any person to fire a gun containing more than a single round, (3) any person or organization to receive from another state, territory or country a gun made to fire multiple rounds, or (4) any person or organization to purchase, sell, donate or possess a magazine or clip capable of holding more than one round.
Statement of Purpose: To reduce the use of guns for criminal purposes.
They’ll just wait a little while and declare 7 to be ‘high capacity’ and then..
And to think, 53 years ago they “ONLY wanted to register handguns! Long guns will not be affected”.
We see how long that scam lasted!
Single shot eh? When the first anti-semi auto bans were proposed, the Chicago cops raided a drug ring and confiscated lots of guns.
Almost all of those shown on TV were SINGLE SHOT shotguns with their barrels cut way below 18 inches.
Yeah, its almost like they dont have the Balls to come out and say we want ALL your guns, but like dirty little liars try to grab them a little bit a time.
