Smells like the FBI should get involved.

Is this building fireproof? If not, why is it still standing?

You don't want to drive in that neighborhood. I've actually seen women driving in full burka. They don't go any faster than 15 mph, because their vision is so limited.

That mosque is located next to a training area for firefighters...how strategic is that?

I'll drive where I please in Texas. No neighborhood is off-limits to me. If the moslems don't like it, they can lump it.

Do you think it’s safe to say we’re on a slippery slope here?

No. Any idiot who agrees to abide by a religious court, regardelss of the sect, deserves whatever happens to them.

but I don’t think the Guv of Texas is up to the job & allowing this travesty of a religious court to dictate civil law. correct me if i’m wrong

I don't see where it's dictating civil law so I think you're wrong.

That only reinforces the notion of a slippery slope.

Slippery slope to nowhere.

"If all parties to a civil matter freely agree on a venue for settlement then I see no problem."

Exactly.
And muslims aren't the only religion who use their own tribunals to settle religious disputes, or civil disputes if both parties agree.

Tribunal judge Dr. Taher El-badawi says that the tribunal will not handle cases involving criminal law, child support, custody battles, or transfers of assets. But divorce often involves child support, custody battles, and transfers of assets.

The author is missing the point. There are no custody battles, because the child is the property of the man. There are no child support issues because the child is the property of the man, as are the other assets. And there are no transfer of assets, because they all belong to the man.

Monica Sanchez sure doesn't understand Sharia, does she?

Hmmm.

As for driving in that area, I too will drive on any road I please.
