It is unconstitutional to mandate being shot up with some goo, though it didn’t stop the state of Texas.

I was asked about this the other day by a very left friend and wanted to know if the government should mandate vaccinations.

I replied it is unconstitutional but, we have a de-facto system in place already.

It is the law your child attends school.

If that is a public school then you must present evidence of your child being vaccinated against certain diseases.

If you home school then there is no requirement but, you really are risking your child’s health at some point.

Then again, it really is your business if you don’t want to and don’t participate in public education.

Far as I know, one has always been able to opt out of vaccines while attending public school.

Ever hear of an unvaccinated kid spreading scary diseases?
I haven’t.
Total number of our kids and grandkids in public school - since the 1960’s - is 13. In 2 different states.
Not one instance. Either in their schools or anywhere in the nation.

Disease was around when there was bad hygiene practices, bad sanitation, dubious drinking water, good food not eaten, to boost the immune system.
