It’s a fact that is indisputable ... that every website or forum has NO FREE SPEECH ... in that the owner fully controls whatever is said there. Someone owns the site and they are the ones that control it ... whatever way they want. AND I fully support that control of every website or forum ... as that’s exactly the way it should be. For one thing, you HAVE TO CONTROL IT in order to remain in compliance to the law, and then, past the legal aspects, you (as the owner) can control it any way you want.

THAT is exactly how it works on Free Republic, too, and I agree with that.

The bottom line is that there is NO SUCH THING as free speech on any individual website or forum, because someone owns it and they CONTROL IT any way they see fit!

So, I’m not arguing against private ownership or CONTROLLING YOUR OWN PROPERTY the way you want, I’m all for it ... it’s just that you or I or anyone else cannot go onto ANY website and demand “freedom of speech” ... not even under the U.S. Constitution!

I’ve seen websites where anyone could say anything. ON youtube i’ve seen some really weird things said in the comments section even the left’s most serious crime the N word. many other examples

to prove you wrong i’ll start a web site where any one can say practically anything.

Well, if I sell Coke, no one should come and change the recipe indeed because they do not like coca cola. A site owner has inherent themes and leads of investigation to pursue. Obama wants to infringe on redress of grievances.

you don't understand

if you take the Internet as a whole there are so many websites that practically every viewpoint is expressed and every bit of information.

you are talking about individual web sites . that makes no sense .any one can start a web site and give all their opinions on anything on their own web site : so how is this not free speech. you are wanting to allow anyone do say anything on any site but the only way for that is to supposedly get the government involved in that so they could “fix” that as if they've fixed anything. you don't understand that a web site is like a your home. do you want anyone to be able to come into your home or do you believe in property rights and then you say well we have no freedom because a home owner won't allow me in his home and allow me do to anything in his home or say anything in his home. no you need private property rights for freedom to work for capitalism to work. everyone doesn't have the right to go to into your house and stay there. only by invitation. we are here on a private site and the owner can kick us out just as if you let a friend in and he says some things you don't like then you can kick him out.
