To me there's very little new in this article, except they do mention Mattis' name as well as the name of his CENTCOM deputy. Further, they didn't reference any of Mattis' emails...only the deputy's.
IMHO this was a shot across Mattis' bow after he recently testified before congress at the ineptitude of Barry-O and his clown-car national security team.
