I’m not going to dwell in negative comment, just simply say that Scott Walker does not have a track record of opposing the GOPe.
I think that’s the point this article is trying to make - he’s managed to appeal to conservatives without pissing off the GOPe. He’s arguable the only candidate in the position (though Rubio could maybe get himself back there if he clarifies his immigration position).
He’s definitely my favorite candidate at this point. I like Cruz a lot, but Senators generally don’t make good Presidents, and he doesn’t have a proven track record like Walker. Walker enacted conservative policies in a left-leaning state and was vindicated at the polls twice for it.
Regardless, Walker has balanced a state budget and he has governed an entire state. He has learned to deal with both parties which is how this nation works. Cruz has done neither.
