We are not talking about control of Congress. We are talking about state legislatures.
I never mentioned Congress. Where did I do that? The majority of state houses are controlled by us now. But, who knows by the time amendments come up for a vote.
If it happens, it will be after the 2016 elections, and who knows? We may get our clocks cleaned on the state level.
