“while I’m going to spend a pleasant morning worshipping nothing”
There’s a funny gag on the Simpsons where Ed Begley Jr is droning a little go-cart-like contraption with a helmet on his head and he says, “I’m driving a car fully powered by my smug sense of self satisfaction”.
It is hilarious. Your comment for someone reason reminded me of that.

“1: Would the world be better off if a billion Muslims were all non-believers in any god, or as fervent believers in their Allah?”
Probably better as Muslim believers.
“2: Would you respect Muslims more, or less as non-believers in any god, or as fervent believers in their Allah?”
That’s an inane question. It would depend on many factors and would be something that could only be evaluated on an individual basis.
“Those are not trick questions.”
No, they are not but the second is inane.
-Well, I'm happy for you, that you find meaningful substance in a teenage cartoon.
Perhaps you should research the creator of the Simpson's (Matt Groenings) religious views. Newsflash: Groening doesn't believe in a God.
1: Would the world be better off if a billion Muslims were all non-believers in any god, or as fervent believers in their Allah?
Your answer: Probably better as Muslim believers.”
-so a belief in a blood thirsty pirate cult, is in your mind, better than *no belief* in any god... and now I have a glimpse into your mindset. As long as someone still believes in some sort of god, no matter how bloodthirsty and violent that belief system is, its better than an absence of a *belief system*, no matter how peaceful. That's quite a mindset you have.
Thats an inane question. It would depend on many factors and would be something that could only be evaluated on an individual basis.
Your foray into the many *shades of gray* are duly noted.
