Can someone please sum up what Rush is trying to say? Was it fixed?
Hahaha, Rush on the ads guilt tripping the people. I had the same kind of feeling, but could not put my finger on what was bothering me. Not a single ad made me want to purchase their products. Instead, I was busy thinking of making a list of what NOT to buy....
“We came from the sea” - Check, no Carnival
“What can we do” - Dang, wish I could avoid microsoft
Even the Budweiser puppy felt like a gratiutous puppy dog spot....
Same thing with me, couldn’t figure it out. That Carnival one was extremely bad.
If my BF decides to name a star after me for Valentine’s Day, it’s over.
While we bask in the afterglow of “The Great Game” and dissect the game as though it was a real life “running Man” movie, Obama gives us a lecture on his proposed spending platform that will most certainly continue the downward spiral that is our economy, will insure that we cannot intervene in world affairs in time to keep the chaos at bay, and will offer bread and circuses to the masses.
Our republican leadership is absent from the national scene, recovering from the hangover of the television spectacle that keeps us dumb, stupid, and ill-informed.
Pass the cheese.
One more thing, Budweiser commercials have been bad ever since the new owners bought it.
“Honey, you are NOT fat!”
“Then why, with all the stars in the sky, you name a Super Nova after me?”
“Ugh, because, you blow things way out of proportion.”
ROFL!
I named a grain of sand after Biggirl! It was my way of acknowledging all of her hard work for keeping this posted every day!
That was very nice of you.
Hahaha! ;-)
Rush has a point about corporations catering to the whining of the Left.
While doing research on various companies on the internet last week, I noticed that a lot of them focus on things like “sustainability”, “diversity”, and “community involvement”, not their primary industry mission.
They seem to spend an inordinate amount of time and energy trying to cater to the liberal agenda. Are they trying to avoid nuisance protests?
Now Obama wants to remove the tax benefit on inherited property that allows people to use the “stepped up basis at death” to increase the tax revenue to the Government based on capital gains.
If your parents bought the farm in the 1960s for $1,200.00 per acre, and it is now $10,000.00 an acre, you will inherit property with a basis of $1,200.00 so when you sell it, it will cost you capital gains if Obama has his way.
Now, you get the value at the date of death as a basis for capital gains purposes.
This, along with all the other taxes, is huge.
All your money belongs to the government, get on your knees and kiss dear leader’s feet in thanks for what you get! Grovel for more pleeb.
I was thinking the same thing as this caller. If the player could have made the hit, then the ball would have been knocked out.
Then some oyster ate it, goo gled all over it, and now that grain of sand is a pearl!
Does anyone remember the blinds company that always advertises on the talk shows? I want to say “blinds.com” but need some confirmation.
No, I think it’s Blinds.com.
