Cruz is the only way for me, but teaming up with Rand just may get him past Walker/Rubio, neither of whom have military experience or support. Ted and Ron go way back and share the same audit-the-Fed views.
Rand is going to lose POTUS if he runs, AND his Senate seat (can’t be on ballot twice in KY), so he may as well run hard and go for Cruz’ VP. It’ll be strange bedfellows for a while, but I’m willing to do just about anything for a Cruz presidency.
I will not be surprised if Rand sits this one out and gets re-elected to his senate seat. He’s young enough to wait 4-8 years.
