I do not think Jews and Evangelicals will run into a problem in Italy. It appears to me this is a backhanded way to make religions apply for permission and in this way they can stop new mosques from being built.
Italy is not fearful of Jews and non-Catholic Christians. They are trying to stop the every growing threat from Muslims.
ONe would hope. But that’s not the way this law is written -
Very convenient for the Catholic Church who sees ALL other churches as heretic...
So far, only effects one section of the country - but that’s how such things get a toe hold.
A wise people don’t’ let such laws get passed and ‘hope’ for the best.
