My perspective: here is some food for thought, the Japs are too Westernized, too softened for their own good even.. they’d do well if they were set up against the Chinese & Koreans in their region, alone..
I beg to differ.
We are both aware that the reason the Japanese have such an effectively calm and amiable society is because their judicial system is the way it is.

The Japanese are clinical in their killing and I believe that they’re going to end up finding a kind of release from their repressed society through military operations. I do think they’ve channeled much of their ruthlessness into profoundly sick stuff (we all know what they are) and I believe that they’re going to end up unleashing their military and making the ISIS monsters pay for their actions.
I’m certain that the Japanese have been dreaming of a revitalized Japanese military and would gladly use this death of their citizen as a justifiable reason for figuring out a way to end the constitutional restriction on a standing army in Japan.
