Congressman from Iowa’s most Republican district since 2002.

Pushed for English only bill in Iowa.

In 2004 he wrote a letter to Karl Rove and Bush. Told them that pushing amnesty would divide the GOP.

Was vice chairman of immigration committee, until Boehner and the Chamber of Commerce picked Trey Gowdy to sell amnesty to the Tea Party.

He is current chairman of The Conservative Opportunity Society. That Gingrich started.

Conservative on fiscal issues, social issues and immigration.

His worst stances would be on wind and ethanol. He and Debbie Wasserman Schultz actually signed a wind turbine together.
