During Wednesday afternoons White House press conference, ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl cornered Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz over why the administration does not consider the Taliban to be a terrorist organization.
In light of a possible Jordanian prisoner swap with ISIS forces, Karl asked Schultz how that governments actions differ from the United States 2014 release of Gitmo prisoners to the Taliban in exchange for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.
When the spokesman suggested the Taliban is just an armed insurgency, and not a terrorist organization like ISIS, Karl pounced: You dont think the Talibans a terrorist group?
In the clip first flagged by the GOPs Rapid Response team, Schultz struggled to answer, clearly trying to recall administration talking points on the subject: I dont think that the Taliban, um
uh the Taliban is an armed insurgency, this was the winding down of the war in Afghanistan and thats why this arrangement was dealt.

Might be a shoe-in with all that fancy footwork.
It’s time to abandon the “terrorist” language.
They are enemy soldiers. Specifically, they are the irregular forces of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Until we make these enemy states responsible for them, we can’t solve the problem.
One of the reasons we can’t figure out what to do about them is because we can’t call them by their right name.
And Big Media is silent.......this Admin has done more tap dancing that Fred Astaire ever did.
Well Duh! If you want to get a positive response from this spokesperson you simply have to ask if Israel is a terrorist state. This administration sees the Hezzies as freedom fighters.
Sergeant Shultz knows nothing.
Well, they’re Muslims who massacre women and children (and school children recently), so naturally the White House wouldn’t consider them terrorists.
The people in the Oval Office are t3rr0rists.
Treason
Who the hell is this clown? Where does Barry find these bozos? I’ve heard of “valley girls” but “valley boys?” This guy is one weird dude.
The press never ceases to amaze me in how they cover for this administration. IF & When a dirty bomb goes off in Washington DC and NY and wherever else and kills 100’s of thousands . . . I blame them and I blame every Dem and Rino in this country.
Bwahahaha!
Take care, young ladies, and value your wine.
Be watchful of young men in their velvet prime.
Deeply they'll swallow from your finest kegs,
Then swiftly be gone, leaving bitter dregs.
Ahh-ah-ah-ah, bitter dregs.
With smiling words and tender touch,
Man offers little and asks for so much.
He loves in the breathless excitement of night,
Then leaves with your treasure in cold morning light.
Ahh-ah-ah-ah, in cold morning light.

*Note: Leonard Nimoy actually wrote this song himself for the episode "Plato's Stepchildren"
The Taliban has been continually killing teachers since the 1990’s, which is called “terrorism” in any sane person’s vocabulary.
But we are dealing with another White House ass-piece (not mouthpiece because of the crap that comes out of them).
Where does the White House get these pathological liars, “Liars R Us”, the “Democrat Party apparatus”, “Ivy League Schools”, the “Department of Fools, er, State”, the local loony bin, or all of the above?
For Schulz, the “Tal-i-ban” is the guy who counted Harry Belafonte’s bananas in the banana boat song “Day’O”.
Gibbs, Carney, Ernest, Schulz - “THE FOUR LYING PUTZS OF THE OBAMALYPSE” If you throw in the ditsy broads from State, Psaki (aka lying sak of shit) and Harff (Laughing my ass off hyena), then you have the “SIX LYING PUTZS OF THE OBAMALYPSE”.
I’m glad I burn my press card years ago. I’d be ashamed to have to deal with these intellectual twerps.
They consider that they are engaged in “criminal activity,” but now that they and other terrorist like Isis have been negotiating with countries like Japan and Jordan over hostages, they have become a hybrid, part terrorist, part state, as Hezbollah is the terrorist arm of the Lebanese state.
(This is what I learned on CNN today.)
