The fight over the destiny of the Republic is being lost in many theaters, academia is but one. We have lost the battle, or nearly so, in the media, the bureaucracy, our churches, our eleemosynary institutions, and in Congress under the current Republican leadership. We have nearly lost the battle in the military which is buckling under Obama. As we lose these battlefields the conservative hope for saving the Republic diminishes.
