Yeah I disagree with Judge Andrew Napolitano on this issue.
While what they did was ultimately right, the USA at the time was neutral. It could be argued that their actions provoked the USA to get into a war in Europe, and even pushed the Japanese to attack pearl Harbor.
What if, the conservative ideas of Nazism appealed to US citizens? Lindberg and Ford were prominent voices to support Hitler. Truth be told, many commie sympathizers would rather have nazis run Europe. Plus, Ireland was leaning to help the Nazis.
