This isn't news to me. I know every bit of it, especially since I've been a dittohead since '92. I'm irked by the inordinate amount of coverage he gives the topic.

I don't think he can criticize Obambi for not having the proper perspective on world events (death of King Abdullah, downfall of Yemeni leaders, snubbing of Netanyahu, etc.) when he gives more weight to NFL issues than to things that will likely have a much more devastating bearing on life in America than football.

Besides, if he's going to ridicule the "stick-to-the-issues crowd," he's fair game for us to strike back.

For the record, I still love Rush. I'm not going anywhere. But I am going to fuss when I believe there's something to fuss about.
