Conservatives are regularly exposed to the liberal viewpoint whether they want to be or not.

This has an upside. Conservatives hear the other side and learn how to form arguments against it. Liberals, on the other hand, are used to being patted on the head and told that they are right. That's why they get hysterical when challenged or forced to hear a conservative point of view. All they can do is start name-calling.

Snip: “Unless liberals actively seek out conservative viewpoints, which is unlikely, the only conservative arguments they’re probably going to hear are going to be through the heavily distorted, poorly translated, deeply skeptical lens of other liberals.”

Very, very, true! I would further the argument to say that for a liberal, to even contemplate seeking out an ‘alternative’ viewpoint from their ‘progressive’ group think talking points, scares the bejeebers out of them!
