I don't even go to fast food places in certain towns or cities because the employees act like entitled thugs. Not to mention bad food. The last time I had breakfast at a McDonalds (years ago now), I threw away the Egg McMuffin and hash browns after one bite each, and I still got sick.
The last time I went to a Burger King, one of the employees thought she was "disrespected" by another employee and had a meltdown behind the counter. Another employee came over to take my order, and I literally could not understand her.
And then there are the fights that have broken out at McDonalds all over the country that I have seen on the news.
#Black Fries Matter
“the Southern state of Virginia”......
Never miss a chance to take a slap at the South and to regionally profile. That’s still an acceptable profiling.
I’m very picky about fast food places due to the same reasons.
We went by a McDonald’s and a Burger King near Norfolk on the way to the NC Outer Banks a couple years back, and their workforce looked liked the dammed United Nations. Could barely understand any of them. The food sucked ass too.
I try to make a habit of not eating somewhere that has employees that live in a trailer park or housing project....
I’ve only read the title of the article but I can make a good guess what the real story is. As the economy continues to tank and jobs get harder and harder to find it’s easier for McDonald’s to hire very qualified people and the people without qualifications are getting let go.
And they wonder why they have a hard time getting jobs....who needs this??
This is all about destroying the franchise model and forcing Mickey Ds and other fast food restaurants to turn their profits over to the SEIU thugs.
The "oppressed" minority workers and the minorities who own franchises will get the shaft.
I haven’t been to a McDonalds or Burger King in about 10 years. I just don’t eat that stuff anymore. I’m at a Panera Bread every Friday with co-workers, since they offer healthier options.
They worked slowly, talked and argued a bunch with customers and each other, stole food, and left the place dirty.
And yes, I am talking about one particular color of people.
THIS is why we need smaller government. And guns.
My McDonald’s is about 90% Hispanic and I don’t have any problems with the food or the service. In fact, most fast-food places around here now have about 90% Hispanic employees.
Translation: They wanted us to do our jobs.
Hey, sounds like the supervisors were just trying to embrace diversity. I thought that was supposed to be a good thing.
I wonder if one of them was a worker in Emporia on I-95.
I was flying down I-95 and pulled into the McD’s for a large tea and three double cheese burgers.
Went through the drive through, got the order and hit the highway.
About 10 miles down the highway I opened the bag and found 2 single cheese burgers - and I had been the only car near the drive through.
And they want $15 an hour?
Supervisors repeatedly complained “there are too many black people in the store,” the lawsuit alleges.
correction - “too many black people FIGHTING in the store, DESTROYING THINGS in the store,”....
Doesn’t this just seem for most urban blacks, to be the default “solution” to everything that bothers them?
Deep pockets behind this one going after deep pockets.
Unfortunately McDonald’s along with the rest of the fast food industry has turned into 100% garbage. It’s not food!
If you give a dam about your health. Avoid these places as much as possible. The important thing is to get your nutrition.
When you get your neutralists, your hunger will go away and you will feel much better.
reverse that and its no longer discriminatory action rather affirmative action....
