US President Barack Obama has thoroughly bungled the US's approach to the Iranian nuclear program, former US Ambassador to the UN John Bolton stated in a special Arutz Sheva interview.
"I think the President has said for some time that all options are on the table with respect to Iran's nuclear weapons program, but nobody really believes it," Bolton stated. "Worst of all, the Iranians don't believe it."
"There is no credible American military threat against Iran's nuclear weapons program, and that's a possible reason why Iran continues to stall, continues to drag out the P5+1 negotiations, continues to ask for more concessions - because they don't fear a strong United States response," he continued. "The pressure that's on Iran now is due to the collapse of international oil prices - not the sanctions, and certainly not fear of the United States."
"When I began to work on the Iranian nuclear program over 14 years ago, we thought we could force Iran to give up the program using comprehensive, strict, strongly enforced economic sanctions, and a credible threat of military force," Bolton explained. "But over the almost 15 years now, the sanctions have been ineffective, the military force has been weak, and I don't think there's time now for sanctions to work."
"Sanctions work in limited circumstances in the best of times, and Iran is really past that," he added.
Bolton opined that the international community is now limited to two "very unattractive" choices: Iran gaining full nuclear weapons access and capability - which he states is the most likely possibility - or a strong show of military force against the program.
The former ambassador added that Israel is on its own regarding Iran's nuclear program.

” The former ambassador added that Israel is on its own regarding Iran’s nuclear program.”
Bibi knew this 6 months prior to Jan 2009.
If most American’s no longer trust or believe a word coming from government, why would the Iranians?
I’m thinking Netenyahu’s address to the Joint Congress will be after the fact of and to discuss Iran’s sudden willingness to come back to the table without conditions.
So far the only options Ob
Has played with respect to the Iranian islamoNazi nuclear missile buildup is to end them billions of dollars and use the great U.S. military to protect the bomb factories. Threats? Iran keeps threatening us. And Ob threatens ‘war’ against anyone trying to stop the islamoNazi nuke buildup.
The club of people who don’t believe Obummer is getting pretty large.

No one believes Obama's threats. Sadly, they are America's "threats".
Israel will take them out and it will be sooner rather than later. The U.S. should, and in most circumstances would, back Israel to the end. I can see a nuclear strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities. I can foresee a threat to the Islamic world to either cool it of face the TOTAL destruction of Mecca and Medina. There is no other group in the world that is so emotionally connected to an area than are the muslims......if the Vatican were bombed, the Catholic church would continuen to function just fine, but losing Mecca and Medina would be more than a disaster to the muzzies...
I wonder how quickly Iran would come to terms if John Bolton were Sec of State?
The Iranian mullah’s purpose for the negotiations was never, in my opinion, to reach any agreement that would terminate their agenda to acquire nuclear weapons, but instead, to the mullah’s, the negotiations’ purpose was the delay they produced in any preventive measures by the west until their nuclear objective was a fait accompli.

His bus don’t move because there are too many under it, and those still on it are a part of that club.
If you needed John Bolton to tell you this please raise your hand.
