Thanks for the link. I remember when they news used to be about who the next "blackberry killer" would be. I remember Palm OS and the Palm Treo, the Motorola Q and others like that. Blackberry handled them easily by providing the best business-class security and management for their phones with Blackberry Enterprise Server.
Then, Apple and Android go into an apps arms race and Blackberry did nothing. It was like they figured all anybody really wanted was contacts, calendar, email, and the ability to lock down the phone of an employee who is up to no good.
To me, this whining by Blackberry are its death throes.

Ah yes. I actually got pretty good at inputting text that way on a Handspring Visor.
Mrs F & I were big into those + all the accoutrements. We even spent $$$ on the GPS plug-in -- which was a real POS.
