Second chemo session today. I did well after a little confusion about a newbie who wasted four needles trying to access the imbedded port in my arm. A pro took pity on
both of us and inserted Needle #5 in seconds. The session was half as long as the first one, and I’m assuming that the last four sessions will be short as well.

I was tired for a while, but after Bryan and I ate some breakfast at a nice place in Deerfield, we both felt better. I feel pretty dang good right now, but I have a 5-day anti-
nausea med in my blood stream. We must return tomorrow afternoon at 4:30 p.m. to get my post-chemo shot, which judging from the first one I had, is no big deal.

Generally, things went well. The techs are very nice and kind. They like to be upbeat and they joke around a lot. There was a lot of joking and laughter going on there.
