“My question is what now? They just get away with it right? They arent going to replay the game. Patriots still go to the Super Bowl. What does this say about cheating if you end up getting away with it because the game is already played and there’s no going back to fix things???”

Like cheating in an election. Pay a fine,the ruling stands.

Now-a-days , society encourages cheating. The outcome of cheating and winning but getting caught is almost always more favorable than playing fair and losing, and only negligibly (and inconsequentially) worse than playing fair and winning.
In politics, in football, in grades, in projects at businesses, in contracts, in EVERYTHING, really.

I mean I can cheat, make 20 million I would have never made, and then perhaps get caught and pay back 2 million of it and maybe sit in jail for 6 months. But after that, I still have 18 millie! YEAH BOY!

That’s the good ‘ol USA these days, folks.
