Legal immigration is just as bad, if not worse, than illegals crossing the border. Because the "immigrants" are coming through the front door and into the Chamber of Communists' open arms, they are visible and even more unlikely to assimilate into the melting pot of America than desperate illegals risking their lives crossing the border.
BTW - Cruz also supports the same pathway to citizenship (AMNESTY) that Rubio and much of the GOP establishment does:
Sen. Ted Cruz also supports temporary legalization status in the immigration bill
Sen. Ted Cruz introduced an amendment to the current immigration bill back in May that would have removed the path to citizenship from the bill completely. But it also supported the same temporary legal status (RPI status) that is already in the bill that Sen. Marco Rubio has been discussing. And even more than that, it also supported permanent legal residency status as well.
Ted Cruz CANNOT be trusted to secure our nation's borders and stop the flood of immigrants from diluting this country thanks to Ted Kennedy's (D-Hell) 1965 Immigration Bill.
Also, the same folks calling Palin a "quitter" are screaming deafening silence as Cruz will have served the same amount of time as Palin was Governor and nobody is bringing up the absolute, stunning hypocrisy that Cruz won't finish out his term that he was just elected to in 2012.
Wow!
So Cruz drank the kool-aid too?
Where is our Le Pen?
It’s going to take a woman to save this country since every worthless male politician is a hack and sell-out on the GOP.
Either that or this country will be destroyed. We’ve been on that path for decades now anyways.
I have always liked Ted Cruz. But, I always had one reservation. I never liked his looks. Maybe now I have some justification for that feeling.
Wow—that Ted Cruz clip is really important and really damning.
Massive, unending, mostly third world LEGAL immigration is why the GOP has lost its ability to elect a national ticked.
Obviously, no one in Cruz’s family works in the tech sector.
Some of us are aware that all politicians work for the power elite.
Wherever you see an Ivy-league educated politician, you know right off the bat who he’s working for.
Politicians have a public persona that identifies with either the “left” or “right”, but ultimately it’s all just a show for the public.
Hate to say it so bluntly but we have a bunch of blooming idiots here that seem as bent on destroying the Nation as the Left that they claim to despise.
Maybe I’m missing something here, but it seems to me that Cruz might have put this amendment forward, knowing it would get shot down (only three other Republicans supported it?), just to make a point.
That being that if immigration conveys all the benefits a lot of people believe it does, why not crank the doors further open, especially in areas (like STEM) that are critical to US national and economic security? Or at least make a bunch of bought/paid for Senators vote on it?
I mean, if Cruz came out tomorrow with a bill to jack the minimum wage up to $50 an hour we’d all know what he was doing, why he was doing it, and would be so singing his praises for having the courage to do it.
Is it possible that this was done in that vein?
I knew it. He came out of the immigration closet. Phony BS’er.
