My pal asked me why I didn’t park in the spots, since I had the placard. “Bad juju” was my reply !

here in Santa Clara County, CA--they have been checking... both of my parents each have their own placards... daddy is 91, momma is 89... if i am driving my momma somewhere, we make sure we have her placard and not my daddy's... vice versa...

I’m down in Orange County, I’ve seen them grilling folks, in front of Target, about their placards.

I was more worried about drawing bad luck, falling, and actually getting disabled, myself, but you raise a good point !
