While reporting the breaking news that the U.S. Supreme Court will decide on gay marriage, Fox News host Shepard Smith observed that the same states that fought racial integration oppose same-sex marriage.
To drive home his point, he added that among some Americans, “there is still disagreement over segregation.”
“Not in every case, but in most cases, the same states which were fighting integration are fighting this as well,” Smith said. “Those states which always seem to be behind the curve for reasons which are explainable and understandable.”
Is it because the inhabitants of these states are bitter, and cling to their guns and religion, or apathetic to people who aren’t like them?
Smith chose not to explain the “reasons,” leaving viewers to discern on their own whether he was talking about Southern states, Republican-led states or both.
The 14 states that ban same-sex marriage are: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota , Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee and Texas.
According to Smith, gay and lesbian couples are victims of discrimination in these states.
“Those are the places where this is going to turn out to be the most difficult, especially if the Supreme Court stays with what has seemed to be a trend toward inclusion and away from discrimination,” Smith continued.
Wall Street Journal editor John Bussey made an observation that “there’s still disagreement on this issue within the American population.”
“There’s still disagreement on segregation,” Smith quickly asserted.

Same sex marriage is as real as a transvestite is a woman. And Shep Smith may be hiding his true sexual orientation. Many people believe that the reason for Smith’s divorce is the fact that he is gay. Whether he is dating a man (Giovanni Graziano) or a woman (Patricia Frees), are a part of the hidden life of Shep’s sexual orientation.
Shemp also had to try and equate Tim McVey as a right wing Christian in order to morally equivicate Islamic terrorists to Christians.
He did this the day after the terror in France. That was a really crappy shot because there is nothing to prove his BS.

He claims to be from Mississippi and a graduate old Ole Miss, but at the same time has said the battle flag is a symbol of hatred and Mississippi should get with the times and remove the flag from any place visible.
I will never forget him crying when Obama won the presidency in 2008. The SOB started crying on his newscast and said it was the greatest thing that could have ever happened in the United States. So Fox News has plenty of liberals working for them, but this candy ass liberal is without the worse. He’s the Anderson Blooper of Fox News.
