The United States and its allies carried out 29 separate airstrikes targeting the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq on Friday, according to the Combined Joint Task Force.
The strikes occurred between Friday and Saturday morning, and targeted a range of Islamic State vehicles, buildings, and other positions, according to Reuters.
Sixteen of the attacks occurred in seven different Iraqi cities. Vehicles, buildings, equipment and fighting positions were targeted, as well as Islamic State units, according to the task force.
In Syria, 11 more airstrikes were conducted around the city of Kobani. Those strikes destroyed a tank and other fighting positions.
Yup!
‘long term solutions’ when it comes to ISIL - has always been to beat them into the sand to a point it takes several hundred years to rise again - hopefully, if we can do that this time also - future generations will be smart enough to whack ‘em back down the minute they break the surface.
Evil exists.
IF not confronted, it will triumph.
It’s especially hard this time becasue they have friends in high places - HERE
The solution in my mind is one that would just never be accepted by anyone. Revert to a non-multicultural society, identify as explicitly Christian. Because the vacuum created by secularism has allowed a 5th column to grow in western countries.
You’re right, never going to happen. I’m glad in a way that I’m old enough that I’m not going to see where this is going. I do feel sorry for my grandchildren and their children.
