But carbon dioxide is about as far from pollution as any substance known to man. It's an absolutely critical component of an eco-system that sustains life as we know it, as important as oxygen and water.
And don't sweat the climatic swings - they've been going on for billions of years and there is nothing you can do to stop it, nor would any sane person want to.
We all need plants to live, therefore feeding them is quite important (no?), and feeding them well is even more important as the population worldwide grows.
