"We are witnessing, before our eyes, the effect of human-caused climate change," said Pennsylvania State University professor Michael Mann. "It is exceptionally unlikely that we would be seeing a record year, during a record warming decade, during a multi-decadal period of warmth that appears to be unrivaled over at least the past millennium if it were not for the rising of planet-warming gases produced by fossil fuel burning."

We did have a warm year in Seattle, but too many people confuse the expression “warmest year on record” with “warmest year ever.” The “record” only goes back a hundred or so years, but everyone knows there were times in the past when the earth’s temperature was much warmer. Taking a (disputed) warming trend over a 15-20 year period as a sign of unstoppable global warming is as silly as saying that there’s no global warming because today we had a record cold day, and global warming alarmists will tell you how silly THAT is.

Yep, just keep smoking the global warming crack. Meanwhile, the polar ice caps and locales all over the world are setting all kinds of records for a cold winter and early ice-overs.
Thanks, everybody.
It just baffles me that he can be so confident as he prattles such nonsense.
I thought we were past this, but wham! Here he comes just as if it were day one and his claims had not been debunked.
It can give a person vertigo.
