I can think of great “black” movies that I would love to see made. Unfortunately Hollywood would never tell the story honestly and Sharpton wouldn’t accept it if they did.
The story of James Armistead Lafayette Would be a great movie. He was a slave who served the continental army as a double agent reporting on the activities of Benedict Arnold while feeding the British bad information. Armistead died a free man who himself owned 3 slaves.
