A state appeals court upheld the convictions of two men in the 2007 slaying of Oakland journalist Chauncey Bailey, dismissing claims that their trial should have been moved out of Alameda County because of negative publicity.

Sad story in that Chauncey Bailey was a good investigative journalist Michael Wills was a white man running an errand in a neighborhood that the Black Muslims felt needed cleansing.
