Six weeks of paternal leave is the part I have trouble with. Dad needs six weeks of paid time off too? Sure it would have been nice I suppose, but what exactly would I have done during that six weeks? Bond with a sleeping child? That’s what newborns do...sleep, eat, poop, and sleep some more.
