An excerpt from Enoch Powell's infamous “Rivers of Blood” speech:

James Burnham, in SUICIDE OF THE WEST, said that Liberalism is an ideology whose function is to reconcile Western Man to the decline and disappearance of his civilization.
Liberals are not Christians. From there, it follows that Western Civilization SHOULD disappear.
EVERY member of the Democrat party, and many members of the Republican Party, are liberals, and you will notice that none of them have any suggestions as to how our civilization is to be continued.
I recall that the Democrat Party tried to remove any mention of God from it’s platform in 2012... If that doesn’t permanently illustrate the profoundly diseased liberal mind, nothing ever will.
Bishop Tobin of Providence said that when that happened during the 2012 convention, he realized that the Democrat party had a problem with God, and he changed his registration.
Only forty years after the Democrats first endorsed abortion in their platform.
