Absolutely. It is quite permissible even for the most pious of Jewish Person to keep livestock even if it is not Kosher for eating. For example, the Torah has many instances where camels are mentioned as a beast of burden and a item of wealth. Just don’t EAT them!

Right — and I don’t understand how any of this relates to showing the Three Little Pigs or some other child’s fairy tale where pigs are characters. So I don’t see how having a pig as a character in a story could be offensive to anyone.
