Every three months doesn’t seem often enough, but we have oil. We’ve never used propane, except with our grill, so I have no idea how often it would need to be refilled. How big a tank is it?

It’s a 70 gal for the stove but we cook and bake more in winter. We’ve run out twice.

We have lots of propane here. The whole-house generator (for power outages)
runs on propane, and we have a 500 gallon tank for that. It’s at 65% right now.

The cooking-and-fireplace tank is 75 gallons. Just “filled,” it’s at 80% now.

The barbecue tanks are 5 gallons each, and we refill those at the grocery store.
