The thing that burns my rear end is the Mexicans putting their used toilet paper in the trash instead of flushing it...gross.
Common practice for sewer systems using septic tanks, rather than a secondary wastewater treatment plant. Same practice is used in much of rural US.
That’s because most Mexica sewage systems (outside of the wealthiest parts) cannot handle toilet paper, so that is what they are taught to do.
The Cubans do that too. It IS gross.
In many Caribbean countries, there are signs directing you to do just that in the restrooms. The reason is they have primitive cesspits that cannot handle paper.
