No kidding. Since Obama took office my grocery bill has almost doubled. Anyone looked at the price of a bucket of KFC chicken lately? It’s over $40.00! I’ll miss it.

$40 for a bucket of KFC?!!!!!!!??????
WOW!

Those must be very high-class, range-fed, eco-friendly miniature pheasants under glass!!

$40 — WOW!

(I guess I’ll stop grumbling about my diner’s little $5 glass of orange juice....)

We are so screwed!...

My wife and I bought New York strip steak in the grocery store yesterday. The reason we did is not that we are doing so well we could afford what used to be just about the most expensive beefsteak normally found in an everyday store but because it was the same price as the damned ground beef! Actually I think it was a few pennies lower per pound! Just under seven dollars per pound for either one. When steak is cheaper than hamburger I buy the steak. If it gets a lot cheaper I will grind my own beef if I want to make a hamburger.

Does anything in this Bizarro World make sense any longer?
