Generally speaking, one can only shoot ONE assault rifle at a time - at least with any accuracy. Having more long guns or assault rifles “available” does not alter this fact.

However, having an armed populace that can shoot back can drastically change the out come of this type of assault.

This is a guy who writes that politicians aren't responsible for ginning up extremism that results in violence, like the assassination of a couple NYPD officers (Wrongly Pointing Fingers, December 23, 2014) ...

Not realizing (or, perhaps, realizing the irony) that only a few short years before he blamed politicians as being responsible for exactly that (Tea Party Thugs, March 26, 2010).

With the only difference being that the politicians he's defending now are Liberals, while the politicians he accused then were Conservatives.

Eugene Robinson is in the pocket and works for the MSM and their megaphone. Their role is to come up with propaganda that convinces average Americans to be fearful and bend over for the political elites that want power for themselves rather than freedom for all.

A first step in this process is to register and then to strip firearms from the serfs. It is then that elites can order police and others under their thumb to disarm society. A disarmed society is a politically and psychologically neutered society. Politically neutered means you the citizens have no power.

I wish Eugene Robinson would quit flapping his gums and get out there & DO something for what he believes in:

1. Walk up to Wayne LaPierre, snap handcuffs on him & declare a citizen’s arrest for `crimes against the people’.

2. Or, go to NRA headquarters in northern Virginia and chain himself to the main entrance in January.

3. While there, scream epithets at NRA staffers.

4. Enter a Cabela’s and start knocking over displays while shouting “This is for the children!!”

5. Walk into an indoor range and yell “CEASE FIRE!!!” at the top of his lungs.

6. When the police come to arrest him for any of the above, scream “Racists! Racists! Racists!” and “This is for Trayvon!!” as they haul him away.
