I noted yesterday that KCTV5 refused to run their arrest photos "until they were actually charged.

I'm presuming they believe showing photos, artist sketches or even giving descriptions of the perps, unless they are white is synonymous to "racial profiling."

Don't know if you've noticed lately but when crimes occur and the police are asking the public for help in catching the perps, local media (KC area) won't even describe those committing the crimes. They merely state, "anyone having any information are asked to contact the police."
