10 January 2015 Nigeria: 'Girl Bomber' Kills 19 People In Maiduguri Market

At least 19 people have been killed and several injured by a bomb strapped to a girl reported to be aged about 10 in north-eastern Nigeria, police say. The bomb exploded in a market in the city of Maiduguri, in Borno state.

"The explosive devices were wrapped around her body," a police source told Reuters. No group has said it carried out the attack. The market is reported to have been targeted twice in a week by female bombers late last year. Correspondents say that all the signs point to the militant Islamist Boko Haram group.

That is the whole point here. 4000 years of squabbling between arabs and jews and 2000 years including the Chistians for a 3 way race so to speak.

Oh, I have.

You say, “Islam has as deep of roots to Abraham as do the Jews and Christians.”

Balderdash.

The only mention of Islam in the Bible is Genesis 16:12 regarding Ismael: “He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers.”

The Koran was partially plagiarized from the Bible by Mohammed in about 600AD. The Old Testament account of Abraham was far older than the birth of Christ (i.e., “AD”).

I do not consider plagiarization from source material that is centuries (or more accurately millennia) old to qualify as “roots.”

Maybe you should do some research.

How many centuries after Ishmael did Mohammed have his “vision” that began islam? Do we know for certain that he was a descendant of Ishmael?

According to Dr. George Grant, Mohammed first went to the Jews and informed them that he was the Messiah they were looking for. When they rejected him he went to the Christians claiming that he, not Christ, was the Messiah. When they rejected him he created Islam and the rejections by both Christians and Jews brought his hatred and wrath.

Oh, ah, you happen to have an original copy of the first five books of the bible, if not, do you know where I can find one?
NO,I didn’t think so. Neither does anyone else. Like I said, it is a matter of there not being any text that can be examined, therefor, muslims believe that the first five books were corrupted.

Yes, I agree, it is all conjecture upon all 3 religions.

Hence the conflict, gentiles, jews and arabs.

A Satanic Religion

Bingo! It is Satan's mocking response to God's adoption of mankind through Christ...

I’m not a religious person, myself.

I have taken to judging religions by their fruits. in the city of Portland, Oregon - near where I live all of the major hospitals bear Christian names, as they were build by Christian religious organizations. We have St. Vincent, we have Legacy Good Samaratan. There is also an “Adventist” hospital, built by the denomination of that name. This seems to typify the benefits of Christian beliefs to society. (Sometimes unbridled charity becomes a liability, as in the support of some denominations for the continuing import of failed races like Somali’s)

And, in effect the entire West was built with Christian beliefs and ideology at its core. In fact even secularism and atheism are essentially offshoots of Christian theology, historically speaking. Pretty much the entire concept of “human rights” is impossible to understand outside of Protestant theology, from which it sprang.

It’s also not too hard to see that Protestantism has built more successful societies than Catholicism. America vs. Latin America. Former English colonies are the best post-colonial nations in the world, to which all other colonies aspire. USA, Canada, New Zealand.

Buddhism and Confucianism seem to have been able to build societies that were stable and provided for order, but lacked key components that we cherish in the West, like progress, liberty and freedom of thought. They were drone-like, but still not evil.

Islam has a truly horrible record, one that is getting worse as time goes on (in the modern era, no less) of atrocity after atrocity. From a purely utilitarian point of view (regardless of whether its beliefs are true) it’s a horrible meme for the world.

What an ignorant comment. Do I personally have them? Nope. But original source material that far pre-dates Islam is well known and well studied. Example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Sea_Scrolls

Islam is not a religion. It is a sick social order inspired by a pedophiliac and constructe4d by psychopaths.

That's a false conclusion on their part. You cannot declare a text corrupted because there isn't an original copy available. If that were the case, you could declare ANY text of which no original manuscript exists to be false and corrupted--everything from Shakespeare to the Gettysburg Address. The only way you can prove and say definitively that a text is corrupted is to have an original text and THEN compare it to later, corrupted texts.

Yeah those date back around 300-500 bc, I wonder who wrote them, where did they get their information, and Moses and Abraham lived about 1500 years before then. They do not validate anything. Care to try again?

Oh, I agree, did you know that the Virgin Mary was probably only 13 years old? It was common in those days to marry young or didn’t you know that.

And the evil prophet did not come along until thousands of years later. Islam was not codified into a religion until 600 AD or so when a murderous pedophile received inspiration from Satan. Other than that it is much the same as Judiasm and Christianity.... (do I need the /s)

Where did you come by that chestnut? Pinko websites are a bad place to surf.

Is there ever even a day that goes by without Islam’s provoking an act of mind numbing horror? Most days there are several.
