From what I understand, while there was some speculation that Boumeddiene was at the kosher grocery store, her presence there was never actually confirmed.

Now, according to this story, there is good evidence that she had left France entirely as of January 2, traveled to Turkey (where, apparently, her movements were monitored for a time), from whence she then supposedly made her way to Syria. In short, she did not "escape" following the police assault on the store, as she wasn't there to begin with.
