In an interview with KNPR that aired this morning, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) revealed that an exercise injury he suffered on New Year’s Day may leave him blind in one eye.
“I had a serious injury in my eye, there’s blood accumulation there, and we’re hoping that resolves itself,” he said. “As long as the blood is in the eye, it’s hard to see.”
The 75-year-old Reid was exercising in his own home with resistance bands when one snapped, flying into his eye and knocking him backwards, breaking three ribs and suffering a concussion. Reid added that he was under strict orders “not to be reading a bunch of emails.”

Reid has been blind to so much for his entire career that full blindness would not be much of a change.
Does anyone really believe a resistance band snapped when being used by a 98lb weekling?

Catholics don’t worship the pope, so far as I know...intimating that Mormons not only 'pray' but 'worship' Joseph Smith and Brigham Young.
Where did I say anything about 'worship"? That's a stretch and misrepresentation of what I said.
BTW, Mormons don't "pray" to OR "worship" Joseph Smith or Brigham Young.
My point was: Why drag a persons religion into it? They are skunks in ALL religions.
But it still seems that many Freepers take any opportunity to slam the Mormon Church - even though the subject at hand has nothing to do with a person's religion.
