Multiple news outlets are reporting that Mitt Romney told Republican donors he may pursue another presidential run at a meeting in New York. The Washington Post writes:

Mitt Romney, the 2012 Republican presidential nominee, told Republican donors in New York on Friday that he is seriously considering a third presidential campaign in 2016, according to a source present at the meeting.

Romney’s move, first reported by the Wall Street Journal, comes as former Florida governor Jeb Bush is swiftly snatching up major party donors and operatives as he prepares for an all-but-certain presidential campaign.

The former Massachusetts governor held a lengthy meeting on Friday with major donors from his past campaigns at an office in midtown Manhattan.

Walker supports pathway amnesty - the device leftists will use to destroy the Constitution and America by creating a perpetual socialist voting block.

Walker? No thanks!!!

No Jeb, No Mike. No Chris. No Mitt. Any one of these get the nomination, No Vote.

Couldn't have written this conclusion any better or any more succinctly. This should be intoned as a conservative mantra between now through the end of the 2016 primaries.

OK Mittens—tell us your new ideas—what you will do to set things right! I will listen. But you better have the fire in the belly this time!

The bottom line is that the GOP leadership wants Jeb Bush to be the only candidate that Republicans can nominate. And they are bringing in Mitt Romney to “run defense” for Bush.

Romney is the backup, however, if Bush proves to be so anathema to nobody but billionaires will vote for him.

Maybe they have promised Romney that if he plays nice, Bush will nominate him for VP.

The bottom line is that the GOP-e insists on one of those two, and their third choice is Hillary. But never, ever, a conservative.

Sirius is the brightest star in the heavens. Romney is not.

He’s more like “serious” in “Airplane”. Shirley Romney jests.

I find it odd that Mitt is even suggesting he might run again. Jeb has proclaimed he wants to raise 100 million $$$$ in 3 months. That is going to suck out a lot of money. Where...how do candidates like Walker, Cruz, Romney.... and all the other guys hope to compete with that sort of fund raising?

Gak....just cannot bear the idea of Mitt or Jeb as the R candidate. Such a waste.

Uncle Karl's Nursery-Rhyme Story-time

The three little kittens, they lost their mittens,
And they began to cry,

"Oh, mother dear, we sadly fear,
That we have lost our mittens."

"What! Lost your mittens, you naughty kittens!
Then you shall have no pie."

"Meow, meow, meow."
"Then you shall have no pie."

The three little kittens, they found their mittens,
And they began to cry,

"Oh, mother dear, see here, see here,
For we have found our mittens."

"Put on your mittens, you silly kittens,
And you shall have some pie."

"Purr, purr, purr,
Oh, let us have some pie."

The three little kittens put on their mittens,
And soon ate up the pie,

"Oh, mother dear, we greatly fear,
That we have soiled our mittens."

"What, soiled your mittens, you naughty kittens!"
Then they began to sigh,

"Meow, meow, meow,"
Then they began to sigh.

The three little kittens, they washed their mittens,
And hung them out to dry,

"Oh, mother dear, do you not hear,
That we have washed our mittens?"

"What, washed your mittens, then you're good kittens,
But I smell a rat close by."

"Meow, meow, meow,
We smell a rat close by."

Personally I would love to see Mitt running against Jeb to split the mushy-middle vote.

On the other hand, if Mitt runs, every thread about him here on FR will be again be infected with the endless, multi-screen length, repetitive cut and pasted anti-Mormon screeds.

Decisions, decisions.......
