I believe we are seeing the beginning of the end of Jewish history in Europe. What makes the situation in Europe unique in history is the fact that Europe has become very intolerant of identities in a multicultural and post-nationalist environment.
This new antisemitism is very connected to Israel — demonisation, delegitimisation and double-standards — and is now so deep in the core of European political and intellectual leaders that practically every Jew is being asked to choose between being loyal to Israel and loyal to Europe.
That insecurity is due to Muslim immigration and the rise of the classical right, which sees the Jews as the “other”.
The liberal, intellectual Europe where Jews historically felt so comfortable is now asking them to choose between Israel and “us”.
These three factors are bringing us to the situation where unprecedented numbers of Jews in the free world are moving to Israel. This year, one per cent of the French Jewish community will make aliyah.
I see this as a historical moment — as the beginning of the process of distancing Jews from Europe.
Europe is abandoning its identities, with the multicultural idea that there will be no such things as nation-states or religion. In post-identity Europe, there is less and less space for Jews for whom it is important to have both identity and freedom. In Europe, it is becoming more difficult to have both.

If this comes even close to being true, Israel will need to triple it’s size to accommodate all the newcomers while keeping a ‘moat of empty space’ between them and the surrounding countries that are full of radical Muslims.

I have had that argument myself. Americans have shed a lot of blood protecting Europe from itself. By the way, it is not only the liberals that espouse this view. FYI, many of us expected events like this. It was never a question of if, just a matter of when. It is also the opinion of many that it will get a lot worse.
The Jews would be better off emigrating from Europe to the U.S. They need a large body of water between them and the Muzzies. In Israel they are surrounded. Over here in the U.S. they should be safe, once we get rid of Obama who likes to import dangerous Muzzies to our country.
If all European Jews or most of them ended up in Israel, if they ever end up being wiped out somehow over there by the surrounding Arabs, hardly any Jews would be left in the world. Now I know that would make some people, even over here in the U.S.A. happy, but it would really be very sad. To avoid this, most European Jews should come to America.
Good points. Much in the U.S. is on hold until we get new leadership to replace what is now absent or subversive.

As far as French Jews go, they’ll be far safer in Israel where at least they’ll be in a country that defends its citizens (and Israel has defense abilities way, way beyond anything ever published in the mass media, if push ever came to shove)

No they wouldn’t, and just as long as the French Jews (or Jews from anywhere in Europe that feel they aren’t safe) stay away from the pockets of Muzzies we have here, such as Dearbornistan, or New Jersey and New York, they should be okay. At this point in time we still have a very small population of Muzzies in this country, and as our country is so large, it’s pretty easy to locate away from them. No country provides a 100% guarantee, but our country could offer a very safe harbor in general to European Jews.

What makes America relatively safer day by day is the increasing number of us “infidels” who are getting our CWPs, getting range time & practicing tactical firing while stressing anticarjacking & antikidnapping defense techniques. Situational awareness is important too.
Watch for muzzies in America to become big tubthumpers for gun control. The Koran after all forbids “infidels” to possess weapons of any kind.

Note that the Muslim population in the U.S. is 0.6%, very low. The lowest in the West, and lower than lots of other countries also. Now, once we get rid of Obama in 2 years, and don’t hire another Muzzie lover as Prez, we should do just fine.
So, European Jews will do just fine in the U.S., as long as they don’t move near one of our pockets of Muzzies in this country. No one should move near Muzzie pockets of population in this country if they can help it. They don’t like Christians either, or Americans for that matter. They may live here but they don’t love us. So, come on over, European Jews. You aren’t welcome where you are much anymore.

Locking & loading is something that “infidels” in Egypt, Pakistan, France, & Britain are simply unable to do.
And in U.K. if you use a gun in self defense you are arrested & held until your innocence is established.
